its saturday

i randomly felt like eating something bananaish today
so i found the banana muffins recipe we made for homeecons and made...
banana muffins! haha
just that i didnt have the muffin tray nor muffin case so i just cheated and lined aluminum foil on my little metal bowls.

i was having random thoughts today.
i was just eating char kway teow at simei
and i looked the building structure of the hawker center
then i thought of how singapore was just a plah of forest and mush when raffles came
and how did buildings came about
how did we know that bricks were good and wont break
how were we so sure cement could keep the bricks together forever
how did we know that the buildings were strong enough and wont fall on us
how did we know how to line the pipes in the walls
how could we trust those wires attached to a very heavy lamp from hanging firmly onto the ceiling
maybe the ceiling would come crashing down on me the next second while im sitting on my sofa o.o

how did everything come about

and i thought about it when i was on the car coming home from my ahmas house
next time, i want a house with a glass ceiling!
so everynight i can watch the night sky before i go to sleep

Its been a fruitful fruitful sabbatical week =]
chinese cuisine was so fun!!

and on thursday afternoon we went for a excursion to a cha guan.

i couldnt really taste the cha ye dan o.o
but the dumpling is super niceeee!! tasted really authentic =]

as for my second sabbatical, adaptive resilience for youths,
it was uh.. kinda boring at times and i dont really believe in techniques
but the speaker is a very very very very very very very very very very very very inspiring man!!!!!! Mr Teo Yew Chye =]
argh how i wish i can be like him, in terms of mentality (and finances if ever possible)

while teaching he also taught us alot of defensive moves =] hahha so fun and so cool!

We made jiao zi (dumplings) for chinese cuisine today!!!
Haha it was super duper fun :DDD
and for adaptive resilience we found out that our instructor was a millionaire who owns 26 properties and has a very very sweet daughter =]
we learnt some more defensive techniques too,
including one which can break the attackers leg ^^
i think its super cool :D

haha i havent blogged for so long =]
but these few days have been happy! great :D
finally free from all the stress and pain! though for a very very short while. =]

On saturday, zee, huiying, zhee, yiyan, guen and me happily met at marina bay to go eat steamboat!!! the busy jiale as usual couldnt make it and huiqing was sick =[ so in the end i was the only march baby who turned up -.- ee
So yea we happily walked and made alot of noise while waiting at the busstop and then we decided to hop onto the van which would ferry us to the steamboat place. but guess what! we hopped onto the one which fetch us to the boonkeng steamboat place.
hahahahah marina bay? boonkeng? not very near eh.
it was freaky sitting in a van which you do not know where its headed to. eek.
haha but in the end the steamboat place at boonkeng is nice!
i prefer it to the marina one really
they gave us 'free' flower crabs and prawns while stocks last. hahah :D
so we stayed there and ate till nine! hahahah had a super funny time!
with guen and huiying eating steamboat for the first time :D
spastic! :D
and we love mantous! :D
the best thing of all, we didnt get diarrhea (only guen) hahahah how surprising! =]]]

And on sunday, wingyau, eva, jasmine and i went to wingyau's house!! without the usual busy jiale and rachel who abandoned us =[
so we went to wingyaus house and got fascinated with her windows haha!
and then we watched oceans thirteen while pigging out on lays and ruffles =]
oceans thirteen is kinda a cool show =] i like the china man!
and we spent the rest of the time playing bridge! :D
bridge is lovely and fun! :D

todayyyyy was sabbaticals!
chinese cuisine was rather fun! =]]
we fermented rice wine (i think) and we are gonna eat it three days later hahahaha so gross!
and we had tangyuan! yay!
and then we made some red bean glutinous rice thing.
it was super duper sticky and we had a very difficult time trying to get in into and out of the container.
everybody said it tasted nice though =]]
but it was gross to me coz it looked gross, and yiyan gladly ate up everything =]]]
we are making dumplings tmr woohoo!! :D

the second sabb was adaptive resilience for youths
which was boooring.
but i think our instructor is super cool! hes super resilient =]
and he has a black belt in takwando plus he learns french kickboxing and martial arts and bla bla blah =]
However we were falling asleep 3/4 of the time. only the last part was fun!
4 people went forward to try to break the plastic bricks.
joycelyn is pro! she was the only one who broke the red brick =]

After hearing how the others, especially huiying, complained about their sabbs, okay my sabbs are quite fun =]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]

i need someone to listen, just some random stranger so i wont be judged
but there is no one.

as a teammate, as a senior, as a human.

three science in a day is not good. especially when two are lab.
butbut bio spa is still fun =]] love bio!

and we had our end-of-year briefing today!

alot happened today but im too lazy to write everything

after gym, shihui and i went to jeanne's dance class for trial class.
the dance studio was at the top of fort canning, at singapore dance theatre.
it was so scary when we first stepped in.
and the instructor was a guy. i dont really like guy instructors.
but anyway we started warm ups and did some jumps and turn turn turn turn.
hahahahah went dizzy turning but it wasnt very bad.
and then we did some fan dance!!!
hahahaha so chenlili but i liked the fan dance! its cool!
the instructor is super amusing =]]]]]]
I like this dance class!!! coz its productive :D
but i dont think i can and am allowed to continue it.

today was so slack!
we had some very unproductive discussion during lang arts
went to the library for chinese SIA during chinese lesson
stayed in class and made noise during physics coz mrs wong wasnt in school
did functions for 15 minutes and continued to make noise during maths since ms yeo wasnt in school too.

after school, went to the gym and ate pizza!

and livia really eats alot.

came home. bathed. ate dinner, and started helping my bro build his icecream stick bridge.
