Wow I really havent been updating in the longest time =] Time to rescue my dying blog!

So much has happened after comps! =] everything except training. I miss training like mad, haha it was the only happy thing that happened in school, there was something to work towards! but now school is just becoming another routine. Nothing much to look forward to now =/ while dance is getting too painful. arghhhh.

The week after comps was floor comps! :) HwaChong did really well! The high school kids got both div team champions and A div swiped all overall indivs! So proud of them!! =] Nanyang did well too they've really come a long way through the trying situation!
Floor comps day was Aly's birthday too!:D So we all went to swensons to celebrate! =]


Swenson's is awesome!! They gave us free icecream cos it was aly's birthday, and its not just one scoop its 3 scoops complete with whipped cream cherries and candle!:DD Haha we were so happy with free icecream! cos its really free! haha :D SO NOTE: Go get free icecream from Swenson's if its your birthday! :D yay for free icecream! which reminds me, tomorrow is B&J day! :D Go get your free cones! hahahaha imma singaporean! but i think the queueing is the best part not the free cone =]

Gym dinner was at the hawker centre round the corner haha =] Had alot of fun at the playground after that - scaling climbing jumping spinning =]]]

Then we went back to HC gym and saw how crazy guys can get! Haha all the little high school kids were doing all sorts of rubbish like wrestling on the floor, playing gladiator on the beam, soccer etc etc all kinds of violent stuff! Hahaha it was very funny but weird to watch all the little kids go mad hahaha!:D Then on the trampoline, the guys + laoda were doing all sorts of crazy flips i would never have the courage to do haha!!:D
The maddest thing i did was to climb up to the highest railings where the lights are and jump down into the sponge pit! It is freakingggg highhhh!!!! And im super scared of height, but i did it! Haha it was so fun!!!:DD Sank right through to the bottom of the sponge pit and got buried in sponge haha! When you get out of the sponge pit you're totally covered with disgusting rotten sponge bits, but nevermind because it was worth it!


That Sunday, Easter Day, was my baptism :)))))
It was the most joyous experience really! The actual baptism was cold and nervous; but once i got out of the water, changed and calmed down, the joy just started to flood in and everybody was so super happy for us. Especially Aunty Lay Keng, she was so duper happy she hugged val and waiian and me so tightly and started camwhoring with us :D hahahaha! Aw man its the most memorable event, I could never forget it :))) Im so glad I got baptised.

Monday!
I missed half of school to see my brother off to NS! The whole trip at Tekong was so boring. We were brought around the BMT site to look at their training facilities etc. The camp is like a chalet hahahah so clean and pretty! Even their bed mattress is thicker than mind! I throught that they would have to crawl in mud and swim in the river but nooo apparently not, cos theres no mud to roll in and there is a swimming pool so swim in! Hahahha
Its been one week since my brother entered camp! Oh noo i miss him!! He said hes surviving/ training is tough/ and he wants a cap&beanie before he comes out. Hahahah woah i cant wait to see him bald, his hair was half his life haha! He must have been so super sad when his hair got shaved off hahahahaha!
Yay hes coming back next week =]]

Tuesday Wed Thurs Fri -SCHOOOOOOOOL
Crashed Ares Fac Outing on friday night. Im sorryyy it was really boringgg.. but yay Mabel won Fac babe!:D

Saturday. Went for band prac in the afternoon, which was really fun. Love love love playing bass because it is so fun. Jammed to one way and decided that we shall play it anyway for service=] Joy of serving:DD
Then went to watch handsome suit with chuaaa! Hahahaha it was quite a good comedy with pretty babes but the plot was abit errrr. hahaha people with retarded sense of humour should go watch it!:D

TODAY!
BIO LECTURE TEST. okay so depressing it was another -.- Mugged so hard for it and in the end came out stupid questions like transport across membrane. Zzzz!

And after econs lecture today, the lecturer let us watch this video on the recently famous Susan Boyle. I was really really touched by it. Go watch! :)

Time of my life.

Its overrrr. Its all over. Its been over for like 3 days actually haha finally found the motivation to talk about it. Im still sad and angry but more angry than sad.
Not like I expected to win but i just wanted to connect my routine. People keep telling me not to be too hard on myself since i practically only jied during shichangdi butttt thennnn :( shibai is shibai laaaaa. The more Wang lao shi kept telling me 'Hen hao hen hao" the more i was sad.
Oh well theres still next year but then again its gonna be the last year everything depends on it and if i screw up again i dont know what I will do. sigh.

On the brighter side, Im really glad for comps though i still hate it. Its dumb we train the whole year, sometimes wait 2 years just for that 20 seconds which is so so so easy to mess up.
But im glad we did well as a whole this year though everybody like everybody including the guys screwed up/didnt perform our best. Haha the Adiv guys for team silver. Laoda got indiv gold, Jeanne indiv silver, Amanda indiv bronze.
High school kids did really well too both C div, B div team gold i think =]. Nanyang C div team silver, B div team gold:D Cherie was so amazing she was so freaked out before comps she started crying then she went up and performed her best tao and got Indiv Gold! haha omg my cute cute junior.
Good conclusion for tramp comps 09.

Bad one for me but im just very thankful for having been through the whole process, training, having fun, failing. whats left is to pick myself up and aim for indiv next year.

And im so thankful to have awesome seniors who give so much support and just being there to cheer us on and give us advice and be our pillar. I miss them so much!!! Haha i miss being the youngest in nanyang gym having seniors to look up to listen to.

He arranged it himself!! Super pretty!!! Yaye next time he can go work part time at a florist then i get pretty flowers free yayyy hahaha:D Lol i remember two years ago we all got bouquets from SJI for comps present as well. I was so shocked when i heard they arranged the bouquets themselves and I remember thinking, "Wah this guy! Is secretly a girl inside man!" haha so shocking!:D And coincidentally i got a bouquet of roses that year too, ya the year that poor amanda got chrysanthemums hahahah!

Haha my bouquet is so huge, poor thing gotta go into a plastic container cos i have no idea how else to keep it alive. And its super heavy haha :D
And I got two balloons from Nat too :DD yayee! haha lucky its not barbie. You you you dont ever get me a barbie balloon! no where to hide my face hahaah!
Thank you so muchh I love my balloons and flowers but most of all thank you for being there for me the whole dayyyy. from when i was stressing out till after when i was sad, thank you for trying so hard to cheer me up! You're the best!!

Oh yea after comps we went to NYDC at Holland V. Haha mad everybody was so high and drunk on air haha esp the two amandas! Hahah had a great time:)


And want to thank Wang for believing in me. I think no other coach would have been so encouraging toward someone whom he knows isnt gonna bring home the medal. He didnt give up on me when time and again i couldnt psycho myself to jie tao, he didnt give up on me when i injured myself again so close to comps. Haha I wish i could tell him that i appreciate him but ew ew ew so cheesy hahahahah!! and i cant speak chinese laaa! hahahha!

Looking back at the past 4 months im really glad i joined gym again. It really gave me a new love for it and allowed me to find back the joy of jumping which i had somehow lost along the way in nanyang. Im so thankful :)
And after it all i realised that the gym is really where i want to be and i love the people there so so so much.
