then went to the impossible crowded sitex. haha hate hoards of people! especially hoards of singaporeans, keep pushing and shoving gah.
dropped by there to visit yc and waiwai! haha they were working at fujitsu selling laptops! since when does fujitsu produce laptops?! hahahaha
couldnt wait to get out of there.
if you're going to sitex tmr, firstly dont drive there. bad bad idea. secondly, dont use the toilets there. i got stuck at the toilet for 20 minutes -.- dont know what people do in there, take so long to use the washroom. having only 2 pathetic cubicles didnt help at all too.

then i went to visit my granny, and at night i went back to sitex and got my lovely samsung tocco pink. its so pretty!:D happy! the world is a beautiful place! but then i lost all my contacts yet again for the 3rd time cos i forgot to backup before today. haha im so smart TT.
sitex is alot friendlier at night because all the salesmen are super happy that they are going home soon! :)) yep the samsung staff were really friendly and funny by then haha :)

Yay! today was fun

Met nat and his best friend Liseah. haha Liseah is so funny and we realised we are actually quite alike. love baking, want to open a cafe in the future, love kite runner more than thousand splendid suns, drama fans, love mike he!, love christmas, love the christmas tree outside paragon,etc etc. :D

We sat and B&J for very long, then went down to our favourite place, the bookstore to look at cool books. Theres a cute recipe book that comes with spatula, a loaf pan and muffin cups! So interesting!

Watched Wild child! I actually loved the movie to my big big surprise! its cliche but very fun and interesting. and they drove the morals part through as well, very funny and cool movie =]]]

and then had dinner at swensons :) bad oily food.

the last time i saw her was after PSLE, and zoom now our whole sec school life is over!:))

i still remember miss ng's birthday celebration. it was so hilarious :) yellow wet fish (huang shi yu) so we bought a fish for her and made her wear a yellow raincoat hahahaha oh gosh so memorable. :D miss the days! and miss science tuition with Mr ng! hahaha science tuition at mavis was so fun because mr ng had so much interesting stuff to tell us, maybe thats why im such a science person now =]]

sigh so much stuff happened since i came back from japan. haha bad stuff and good stuff =]]

saturday, games tryout in church! and meeting. so i spent the whole day there came back at 8 and knocked out.

sunday! worship and service. i understood sermon! haha yay =]]
and Phoebe came back from australia after 9 months. Phileo was totally beaming away the whole day hahaha super funny! and during lunch Pearlyn was telling us all about what he did when he went to fetch Phoebe at the airport hahaha super funny. they two are so cuteeee :D

and today! dance from 12 to 630. oh gosh i really could just fall on the floor flat and not move anymore. was tiring like mad.
so now im in front on the tv with my laptop and im not going to move anymore for the next hour +++++. hahahaha whee but it was really fun. i need to work on techniques and flexibilty gahhhhh. want to improve!

my week is packed with trainings. yay im going back to ny for gym tmr i dont know what to expect i hope the juniors are good.

went over to jiales house yesterday =]]] and i think we are all pigs just go there eat laze and sleep hahahaha :D or its just that jiale's house is too comfy laaa :D

we ate jiale's mum's dao suan for breakfast at 1130, which zhee was allergic to the 'dao', and which huiqing loves the 'suan'. hahahaha so retardeddddd!!!!

and then we went to jiale's karaoke room and choped our own spots on the sofa. super comfyyy lahhh and we all nuahed off while watching Waaaaaall-eeee. Wall-e is nicer watching the second time because i understood what wall-e was doing for the whole chunk at the start! :DD and wall-e is so cute!!! and hahaha we kept squealing at he and eva's sweetness together!! the ending is super 'awwwwww!!!' love them! :) wall-e keeps trying to hold her hand haha so cute!

after that we ate beehoon and chicken wing for lunch. really yummy! :) and went up to jiale's room to laze again. haha and we discovered her disgusting saggy pig!! jialeeee!!! what did you do to the poor pig!!

kay then we went down to eat maggi-mee. jiale eats maggi mee with tomato sauce! hahaha spaghetti imposter!

then we went back to the karaoke room to watch click. :) it was so sad we all cried except the heartless miss poh. then we started singing karaoke!! hahahah ya la stupid jiale has a karaoke system in her house! hahaha it was fun! but only jiale was singing hahahah :DD

thennnnnn we went to vittles to meet yiyan! and jiale's ahma treated us. thank you ahma! i love the freeflow of popcorn yeaa =]]] vittles is kinda like astons just pricier. and astons food is nicer no wonder the super long queues. :DD

yay today was slack fun! =] and it was super funny =]]] with all our stupidity added together hahahahah :D

SINGAPORE BIENNALE!!!

yayy i finally went to the Biennale yesterday =]
I was really looking forward to it and great it didnt disappoint =] There were alot of amazing, intricate, intriguing works, not to mention a fair share of pieces that... hmm.. requires deep thinking or a new point of view. haha =]
I had fun :D

We firstly found our way to the old parliment house and this greeted us

whoo maggots! I think they're really cute. though i still dont get the whole idea behind the work.

and this was a major piece that covered the whole wall in front of the staircase. It was made of dried paint.

imagine that. the amount of paint used. haha

And this is just woah. at first glance i thought the scooter was real! but nope

i have no idea in the whole how the artist did it. hes a pretty amazing crafter isnt he.

This was one of my favourite pieces of work! It was a series of family portraits of the artist and her family. And the special thing about it was that the family kept the same positions and pose, while the people changed. hahaha the series of portraits is seriously funny :D like the one below :) the family was so cute! hahaha the dad is in an anna sui top hahaha super cute :)))
and i particularly like it because it really shows the who the artist is (both literally and not) and allows us to connect to who she is :))))

In the main hall there was a huge interactive work. There was a huge google earth image on the floor, and the artist meant for visitors to write on post-its little nuggets of info of the place they lived in and stick it onto its image on the floor.

but apparently singaporeans dont know our geography well enough and cant be bothered to write seriously so there were alot of random notes, which made it all the more cuterr interestingly:D

and this was my favourite favourite work. because i understood it and the intricacy just amazes me. i saw something that wowed my senses.
basically the idea for this work is differences.
at first when i walked into the room i saw a parched landscape, of gloom and darkness.

and as i walked over to the other side of the room i saw a land booming with life. it was so pretty!!! i was really caught by surprise, a really good surprise that is =]]
i just broke out into a smile and felt a feeling of joy. haha it so undescribable, just really gripping joy

it was a really amazing sight to behold =] the artist is too cool really. and imagine the amount of work put into this. imbaaaaaa

another favourite! woodcarving! the artist is amazing i take my hat off him. we've all did woodcarving in school before and im sure we know its really not easy. and this artist did like what 200 pieces of work! and theyre all very precise and detailed.

and then we walked a whole long way under the blazing sun to south beach development, where there were cool works too!

hair salon - it appears like the mirrors are reflecting the room, but in fact, the mirrors are holes and there is another room on the other side with the exact same furniture and detailing! they even printed the description card the flip side round. very coool! and i really liked the salon for its vintage retro feel :))))

its the last chinese test im going to take. its probably the last time im gonna write more than 100 words in chinese! comon comon! i want an A on my a level cert!!

theres so much i want to do after Os! but my days are already so planned out and packed! so much stuff to come but now i miss carefree holidays ahha :(
i want to get a job! to fund my going out i desperately need it hahahah

i finally recovered from my cold. yesterday was totally horrible my nose was running throughout the whole of grad ceremony and after that -.- and i couldnt taste anything i was so sad hahahahah.
but yay im okay now thankfully

i got bestowed 'bass guitar for dummies'. hahahah i shall read it and try to improve my pathetic bass skills! yes yes its my holiday aim!
