COMPETITIONS DAY!

its about 9 hours after comps.
IM HAPPY tho not satisfied.

okay so we went to school at 7+ went to class first and got so much love YAY <3333 you people!
and then went back to the gym. slacked around, slept.
and then we had to do our hair!!!!!! the seniors dumped piles of glitter into the gel and started mixing and combing it into our hair! ahhh cold and slimy! wahahhahah! =] its gross!! =P
then bla bla ba bla while we were combing our hair amanda came with her hand all bandaged up. she got macro fractures in her bone! which is still, she fractured her arm! and its many fractures not just one. oh man! but coz amanda rocks rocks rocks!, she still beared the pain and did her super high and super nice tao, without pa. =DDDD
then wang came along and stupid him screamed at her and made her take out her bandage and do her tao!!! WITH PA! wang was crazy! hes stupid! but coz amanda rocks rocks rocks!, she did it!!!! omg small girl with big courage! LOVe AMANDA!
and then after that pack pack slack slack before going to ccab.
we just went there for probably half an hour. ya jiao. cleared our minds and everything then they called up to go report to the judges. yes so we went thinking it was just warm up round. then they asked us for the scoresheet and we were like 'uh is this the trial or the real thing?' and IT WAS THE REAL THING! bleh! we were freaked out but gah we got our 4 minutes of warm up and just did our tao for the judges.

sammie - 6.95 ( WHAT THE she should have gotten so freaking much higher! I dunno whats wrong maybe its coz we are the first school and she was the first to go! ah but its so unfair to sammie!)
me- 6.65 ( i screwed up GAH so disappointed lost 0.5 for nothing. aiyo oh well just not good enough)
amanda -7.2 ( OH YEa! she got 7.2 with one working arm. if she had both she would rock!!! <333)
sianglin - 6.3 ( i also dunno whats the judges problem! =( gahhh )
rina - 7.05 (yay =D she did her best!!! rina u rock toooo!!!)

comps arent scary. its the hope of not disappointing the seniors thats scary =[
it all happened too fast to be scared. i was totally not thinking when i was doing my tao!!!!!
i dunno it all seemed like a dream! its too fast. when i fell all i could think of is get up do my somersault. and when i got down i was like ' what did i do? did i really slip?"
okay this is getting scary HAHA

oh welll... we were the first school, so unprepared, so flustered, but im quite proud to say at least we faced it and did it =] WE STILL ROCK I DONT CARE!!!!!!! XDDDD
the queenstown girls were so sweet la!!!!! they were consoling us in the toilet even though we were competitors fighting for the ultimate throphy in a competition. they rock tooo!! and one of them is so cute =DDD this is what true sportsmanship is.
Cant deny whitley was pro-er even though i still think their stop very ugly XP
and after c div, complied the scores of all the schools, we thought we got silver. not too bad for us. but at the end at the prize presentation they labelled us as third, whitley second, scgs first. like WHAT? nooooo! got no idea how scgs got first. issit some calculation problem or sth? aiyo so screwed up. =[[ we would have been happier if whitley got first even if we were to remain bronze. oh well dunno maybe its us, maybe its some problems with the judging, but we got bronze its an unchangable fact. okay fine accepted. we shall just strive to beat them next year!!!! all back again! ready to fight for our team gold!!!!!!!!!! =DDDDDD

peixi - 8.5! ( like OMG she was high and controled and nice and graceful and everything!! black horse =D)

peixi got individual gold for b div la!!!!! SO PRO!
AHH OUR SENIORS ROCK!!!!!!!!! we will learn from them!!!!!!!!!!!! =DDDDDDDD
we were so proud and happy for them that we started crying again!!!!!!
ahhhhhhhhhhh all their hard work paid off so glad! ='DDDDDDDD

after comps we took lots and lots and lots of photos and then went to crystal jade to eat.
i shall create a shutterfly album for gym comps once i get all the piccys! =D

sji was rather sad too today.... i didnt really see their c div but they didnt do justice to themselves i think. b div was even sadder! the first 3 people screwed up! i think if they didnt they could have at least got silver or even gold! aiyo its just a disappointment. just feel so wasted for them =[

i've learnt so much through this whole journey.
competition is not about winning (even though if u win it would be better).
it is about going out there, doing your best and facing up to yourself.
so even if people beat you they did it fair and square, it just means they are better, not coz u didnt do your best and u keep regretting and thinking that if u didnt screw up u would win.
winning isnt everything. when u grow up to mature and think back on your gym days, you wont think of how u screwed up, how you thought the judges were biased, or even how you thrashed the other schools, all you would remember is how the team worked together to support each other, how we fought it all out TOGETHER, how we were happy and jumping TOGETHER when we won, and how we consoled each other and were depressed TOGETHER when we lost, and how the seniors rocked your world and taught u so much about facing life,winning and losing! how u had such GREAT teammates, seniors, friends!

Gold trophys and medals are just materialistic, what you truely win is friendships tied closely together through a thing called gym.
