okay maybe because i really havent read much books in my life
and because i loveee this kind of books - exposes cultural stuff, aspects relating to life
I naturally have this dislike for fantasy which is why i gave up reading Lord of the rings and Harry potter
so yes i adoreeeeeee Khaled Hosseni's writing style!
this book is so beautifully crafted!
He somehow has the power to engage the reader.really draws you into the story
The story is about the friendship between 2 boys in Afghanistan. I like how the struggles within the narrator and his insecurities, feelings of guilty etc are depicted. soo convincing
and and and this is one book where the narrator is finally a bad guy! yay!
and i guess another winning factor for this book is that its in first person POV! Thousand splendid suns is in third person! x[
k im done. that was rather messy. but anyway go read the book!!
