I was reading sunday times maybe 2 weeks ago or something. There was a column talking on the death of fullstops. And as i read i couldn't help but agree!
Basically the article talked about how primary school kids litter exclamation marks all over their compositions thinking it brings their stories to life. maybe uh like "She was excited! It was her first time on stage!" hahahahah i dont know, so cheesy.
Fullstops are dying. Exclamation marks are reigning! and im guilty of killing it :( just look at my post above, typed casually without thinking, and its littered with exclamation marks all over. oh gosh now i feel so superficial hahaha.
Some how as we continue on with times, our world becomes large on surprises and unconvention. Excitement is expected and celebrated. Kinda pathetic huh.
I remember how in primary school exclamation marks were almost a taboo, and now its rampant! noooooooo....... hahahaha.
The writer also said something like
One day, when he was feeling perfectly fine and alright, his friend sms-ed him confirming their lunch date later on.
The writer went,
"Okay. See you later."
And the reply was,
"Are you okay? You sound down!"
Oh goodness I am so guilty of this! hahahah craaaaaaaaap. It seriously sounds super stupid now lol. I feel sad im being pulled into this world where excitement is so sought after! hahahaha poo
