Haha okay okay im gonna break off my lazy streak and finally blog.
Been a month since i actually blogged something proper! been a month since ive had the time to slow down and take a check on my life! haha
So much has been happening
1. Fac Comm & all its anxiety -
First fac comm meeting at 8pm,
CSM
Preparation for fac comm intro,
Fac comm intro which means dancing in front of the whole faculty (zomg),
First formal meeting,
Fac comm camp on 2nd,3rd June
2. Dance night! - Back again. All the makeup hassle, backstage frenzy, blinding stage lights, dance night withdrawal symptom.
3. Unhappiness, jealousy and dumb quarrels
4. Getting back on track, reorganizing my life, catching up in school.
5. GDOP!
6. AYG practice 11-6, tuesday-friday! costumes, dance, being part of an awesome performance, fun! :D
7. And through it all, theres always somebody with me! :D

1. Fac comm has been fun! We're just starting to get to know each other better and bond better.
Its really cool that everybody in fac comm though chosen not by chance, each have something we are really good at to contribute to the faculty, (plus alot of bonus talents like yehan's beatboxing, chengxin's magic tricks, daryll and girvan's popping locking, etc etc.)
Our first appearance as fac comm was Combined Sports Meet, where we had to fake enthu and cheer our hearts out. As usual i hate cheering and acting all enthu like a retard but well i guess it made me find a new love for the faculty even though there were really just 20 odd people left at the stands excluding fac comm. It also helped to dawn on me my place and duty in the fac comm, that since we've taken up this role its expected of us to be role models, or rather trendsetters as i would prefer to look at it as. Trend setters of good attitude and just sensible, responsible actions.

On a side note, i miss my teammates like mad =[[[[[[[ sigh. too preoccupied with dance, ive been so detached from them argh DD:
Our first task as fac comm was EC meet fac where we had to organise handing over from senior fac comm, photo montage and introduction of ourselves. The night before that we had to stay in school till 9 plus just to do the shoes haha.

Fac intro was a semi-disaster cos i totally forgot the hiphop choreoooo -.- and was doing modern to a bboy song hahaha! best! haha so fail. nevermind the rest were okay, we did what we could.
I missed the fac comm camp as did all the other dancers! D: we rushed to kallang after AYG practice and got lost before finally finding the camp and joining the rest of our committee. Gala night was quite alright haha the game was the best, huiying and i had to tie chengxin's hair up into many many little tufts hahaha! fun fun wait for photos to be uploaded =] Then that night we pigged out in the bunk, had girls talk, tried to sleep but failed. We had to leave the next morning for AYG prac even before any activities started. Pretty sad we missed all the bonding with our fac comm. Hoping i get more chances to bond with them! :D
And i must say this, Wen Shan is super duper sweet! He couldnt make it for camp so he wrote little motivational, encouragement speeches for HuiYing to read out before/after each activity. and he wrote everybody a letter. Aw man how super sweet!!!

2. BACK AGAIN!
My first ever official performance as a dancer. Haha dont know what to say... uhhhh it was just good? hahahaha good experience? good bonding with the other dancers? felt a sense of belonging for once =]
Ultimately its another of those experience i wont regret going through though i was dancing such a calefare role, un-noticable and all, but i guess it let me put myself in perspective, that ive got so much to learn so much to improve =]] The world of dance is so huge and so daunting (esp after watching Dance,Subaru)! Not like I would ever go professional but just as a hobby i want to dance well:D now I just want to take up classes to learn technique because it is so freaking important!!! I feel like an ugly clumsy toad!
Yep so much more to work on! Go go!
Anyway super proud of dance night:D It was a good show! Though we only got to watch half of it once, but it looked good! Something that i would ask all my friends to come and watch! just that by that time all the tickets sold out!
haha my Daddy said it was a good job for student effort:D and, "Your Chinese Dance society is very good ah!"
My mummy said, "Eh why dont you go join hiphop!"

Modern did well too okay! Jia Ming, my 7J classmate, teared watching Forbbiden Love! saturday matinee somemore, when the audience is the most dead and unfeeling! hahaha!:D
The MAD seniors really did a great job in making everything such a success! and Aileen our item IC cos she put in so much effort and was so super patient with us!
We've got huge shoes to fill! Hope next year's committee will be as zai as the seniors!

202!!!!!!!!! Never realised 202 was such a dance-y class.
And 3 out of the 4 female dance ICs are from 202! haha so cool! :D

4. The week after dance night was wasted trying to get back into the studying mode but failed terribly! Felt empty and that i was too free hahahaha! Three tests in that week somemore haha horrible ttm!! Well I survived! =]
Watched 'Whose life is it anyway' on friday night with teammies, to support aki who was acting as a perverted male nurse hahaha! Not bad aki not bad! :DDD
Good play :D though wasnt the ideal start to Holidays! bad timing yea! hahaha :D but all in all good play! The amount of script the main actor had to memorise is impressive =]]

5. Global Day Of Prayer!
Well as you grow older, it just stops getting exciting :)
Its a good thing though. To look past the heart pumping music, jumping youths, euphoria excitement and all, to grasp the meaning behind the event.
It was a disappointment though, that GDoPRAYER was at most 10 minutes prayer, with the other 1hour50minutes music and fun.
Maybe because I attended the youth one this year, hope the adult service was more prayer.

6. Asian Youth Games opening ceremony performance!
The 4 days of practice has been so much fun amidst all the tiredness and sore from squatting and standing and squatting and standing and running! hahahah! I think the costume is awesome! Our dance is awesome! Our effort is the awesomest! :D Should be a spectacular show esp for the live audience on 29th June =] Yay cant wait! It wont be as amazingly neat and magical as BeiJing Olympics (they let soldiers MUG the routine of the performance everyday for 6 months comon!), but it would be our best effort from all 14000 of us students! :D
Again, its something I would ask everybody to come and watch! but tickets are not for sale and preview tickets sold out already! hahaha do catch it on TV though! :D
